Good idea, Aaron. You inspired me to add the sentence about Joseph Smith (I need to do some more research on the others).

Some of the questions are ones I've gotten from school friends who I know are well-intentioned, but they just have reservations because their only few experiences with philosophy have left a bad taste in their mouths. It seemed like a need, so I made the FAQ. I hope it helps hesitating people jump in with both feet.

By the way, I love the name of your blog, and the story behind it!

Stumbled onto your site via Connor's Conundrums. Happy to have found it. I like that you are straightforward about the fact that you will not criticize the Church doctrine or its leaders. Thank you. I look forward to joining your discussions.

P.S. Those who would ask the FAQ would not be open to your answers in the first place. However, you could beef up your answer to #3. Include such names as Chauncey Riddle (another contemporary), Joseph Smith (more authoritative), Abraham (nice and ancient), and Jesus Christ (enough said)!
